symph-by-the-sea

Symphony by the Sea is a unique field trip opportunity combining arts and science education through a partnership with the Oklahoma Aquarium.  From ocean waves to sound waves, exploring aquatic life while learning about the instruments of the orchestra is a fun way to discover the science of the natural world and the art we create within it.

Each spring, K-8 students visit the aquarium where they travel to three exhibits to learn about a particular animal or habitat including the Amazing Invertebrates gallery, Polynesian Reef, and Shark Exhibit.  A selected TSO ensemble performs while teaching about their instruments exploring how they relate to water and aquatic life.

These virtual performances are scheduled to be available for viewing from April 11 – April 15.
