Allison Petty Lauinger

Allison Petty Lauinger is a fourth generation Tulsan with a love for Tulsa's community and for music. She is an accomplished pianist who performed for 18 years in local and national competitions. She was the recipient of the President's Special Recognition for Piano Excellence Award at the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1999 with a degree in Marketing. In 1995, her sorority nominated her to compete in Miss Greek OU, where she won the crown, as well as crowd favorite and the talent award for her rendition of Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu. In 2004 she graduated from the University of Notre Dame with an MBA. During her studies there, she created a presentation that emphasized the importance of symphony orchestras and their relationships to business. Currently, she is in her third and final rotation of AT&T's leadership program, working as a Lead Channel Manager for Government Accounts. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Tulsa who serves on the Crescendo Music Awards committee.

About the TSO...

The Tulsa Symphony Orchestra employs professional musicians with the focused, collective, and ongoing aim of presenting all kinds of music of the highest quality. The TSO functions throughout the year, and is comprised of self-governing “executive musicians”—individuals who perform masterful music and execute the many decisions involved in sustaining a major orchestra. With a variety of performances and concerts, in-school events, community-engagement programs, classroom lessons, collaborative master classes, and other such appearances, the TSO intends to invigorate and broaden arts education all across the City of Tulsa and, further, the State of Oklahoma. Rebuilding and strengthening the musical arts infrastructure of this city and its environs will remain a key concern and core value of the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra.
