The best of adventures should always include a map.  If not parchment with lines and a compass, at least a descriptive map is helpful to let you know what to expect as your journey unfolds.

This adventure begins on September 10 when Tulsa Symphony presents "Fate and Folklore" featuring a collection of work by popular composers Wagner, Stravinsky, and Tchaikovsky. 

Travel through the galaxy in the October 22 performance titled "Larger Than Life" as the well-recognized piece of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey is performed.

Journey through the seas with Captain Jack as you experience "Disney Live in Concert" on November 12 in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Begin the new year with "Musical Migrations" as Respighi, Beethoven and Schumann are performed on January 7.

Then it's off to the "American West" with Copland's Suite from Billy the Kid and more on February 4.

Travel the "Universe in 90 Minutes" with fellow journeymen, Tulsa Oratorio Chorus, Tulsa Youth Opera, Tulsa Boys Singers and Tulsa Children's Chorus as they join in the performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 3 on March 24.

The adventure concludes with "Musical Fireworks" on May 5 with Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks providing an exciting finale concert for the 2011 - 2012 classics season.
